Colonel Gursewak Singh, better known as, Col Guru, is a distinguished consultant on stress management, specialist in marital counselling and qualified gemologist. He is equally adept at Reiky, Pranic Healing, Japanese Zen Therapy, Yoga and Pranayam essentially to seek solutions to human emotional distress. As a psychologist, he has carried out an in depth study of human body system based on Vedic philosophy and modern theories of Cosmic energy. In his study he has analysed the effects of modern life style on human body and come up with appropriate measures to cope with such stress in day-to-day life. |
A Graduate of Panjab University, Chandigarh, Col Guru was commissioned in the Indian Army in 1969. During his career, spanning over 35 years, he kept up his hobby of human psychology and personality analysis.
Col. Guru, with his vast experience, has conducted numerous seminars and workshops for the Army, Air force, and the Police personnel, apart from those held for the Corporate Sector, Schools and Colleges, in the following specialties:
- Stress management.
- The Art of happiness.
- Personality development, motivation and leadership.

Col Guru’s publication entitled “Happiness through PEG Therapy-a new concept of stress management” deals with personality analysis and development, emotional counselling, marital guidance and gem therapy. It also contains mantras for happiness and different case studies of human relationships, in particular conjugal relationships. He frequently writes on stress management and related topics in leading newspapers. |

As Guest Faculty in Punjab Health System Corporation, he holds regular sessions on Stress Management and Personality Development for the benefit of district level medical officers. Moreover, he is empanelled as consultant on Stress Management for the Air force Station, Chandigarh. Similarly, he is on the panel of Central Detective Training School (Bureau of police research and development), Govt. of India, Chandigarh, for delivering lectures on Stress Management for its trainees. |
